Leaving Messages on the Server When Using an Email Client | Workspace Email - GoDaddy Help US
In general... Switch from POP to IMAP for mail access if you’re using the iOS or macOS mail clients and typical mail server network protocols to read your mail, or configure all of the mail clients to not download messages.
POP is older and often defaults to transferring mail being read from the mailmserver to the mail client. Mail clients can sometimes be donfigured to not do that, if using POP.
IMAP typically doesn’t default to that download.
If you’re using a Microsoft mail client, check with the Microsoft documentation for the particular Outlook mail client, or check with the Microsoft support folks—there’ve been several and sometimes very different Microsoft packages using variations of the name Outlook.

Some mail servers can also be configured to not delete messages. Gmail used to and may still have this option for POP account access; “keep messages in inbox” or some such, rather than archiving or deleting the messages. I don’t use Godaddy, and don’t know if they have this option.
Based on a quick look at the Microsoft for macOS documentation, I don’t see a way to retain messages in the server using Outlook for POP, though the option might exist and is just buried in some settings panel somewhere. Outlook for Mac Help - Outlook for Mac
