Network macOS Mojave >< MacOSX 10.4.11

Hi,

Yesterday I Upgraded my iMac to macOS Mojave. The upgrade itself went fine. But this morning I wanted to make a network connection from my good old PowerMac G5 running OSX 10.4.11, I could not connect.

I couldn't even see my iMac in My network. I need to have the PowerMac be able to read/write datafiles from/to the iMac due to one program for my work that only runs on powerPc.

Any suggestions?

Hi Luis,

Thanks, this did get me one step further! I can now see the iMac in my network, can connect to it, enter my username and password. But then I get the windows to which volume I wan't to connect and there are no volumes I can connect to.

On the iMac the folder is mentioned in the shared folder window.

Go to System Preferences->Sharing, make sure that File Sharing is checked;

then click on Options, and make sure that "Share Files and Folders using AFP" is checked.
