Mail app sends multiple meeting Accepted mails

I have two users that are receiving multiple meeting acceptance notifications after they used the builtin Mail app to accept a meeting request that was sent from an Office 365 account.

I've removed the email account from the app and installed Outlook for IOS, but the notifications still stream in.

When hosting a meeting, notifications get sent out every time I look at the meeting I noticed recently when hosting meetings via my work email, if I look at the invite on my iPhone it will alert everyone on the invite as if I made a change to the meeting. A recent example, I sent a meeting out to several people on my work laptop, but later when I looked at the invite on my phone, everyone would receive an email notification (as if I added or changed something). Is this a known bug, because I've never noticed this happening until recently. Any thoughts on how I can fix it? I removed my email from the phone and synced it back up, but thinking there might be something else causing it.

Calendar Meeting Responses Hi all. When I send out a meeting request from my Apple calendar, any responses (acceptance/decline etc) arrives through my gmail email account. My gmail email is my Apple ID email but I use a .iCloud.com email address all the time. Why are responses not sent via my Apple email?

How can I respond an invitation email that's sent from client apps? I am using Mail app on Mac and I get many invitation emails that were not sent from Apple or Google. Those emails have no response section in the body. I can not see any support from Apple mail app for responding in email detail! Doesn't Apple mail support meeting email?
