“No photos to import” message

i can not transfer photos from dslr to iphone 8 ios 12. I keep getting the “no photos to import” message when i connect my camera. i turned off high efficiency in camera settings. But still does not want to let me transfer photos. I am using the apple adapter for dslr’s.

Photos no longer transfer to Mac after ios14 update iphone 11 Pro iPhone 11 Pro 64 GB unlocked., iOS 14 Late 2013 Mac Pro Quad Core 64GM RAM, Mojave OS 10.14.6 Since updating to ios14, when I tether to transfer photos to Mac Photos app, the iPhone is seen in devices, and it gives me a count of new photos, but I am unable to download them. The photos, which previously showed as thumbnails, show as blank outlines. If I attempt to download, it is unsuccessful and I must force quit photos. I have also tried launching Image Capture and importing and image from my iPhone. With Image Capture, it sees the new images and gives me thumbnails. However, it is unable to import the photos, and again, I am forced to force quit Image Capture. I know ios14 for iPad is a different beast, but, I have no problem seeing and importing photos from my iPad. This problem solely exists on my iPhone, after updating to ios14. Apple Support will be calling tomorrow. Anyone else experienced this?

Cannot Import Photo from Nikon to my IPad Pro I can’t transfer photos from from my Nikon D7000 DSLR to my IPad Pro (10.5inch) using apple adaptor for USB to Loghtening Cable. I always seem to be getting a message that states “No photos to import” even though there are plenty of photos to import. Can anyone please help?
