Apple TV connecting to Computers

Do iTune libraries need to be on seperate "Apple ID's" to be able to be accessed on ATV?

Situation: I recently purchased latest ATV and works well except for connecting to computers (both Mac's) to access the seperate iTune libraries. The libraries are stored on seperate Mac's but are utilise the same Apple ID.

Both computers/libraries names show up in ATV but only one will connect, the other stating unable to connect, check on same WiFi and open. All computers are on same network and "Home Sharing" is on and open in iTunes.

Do I need to close one of the Mac's to access the other or should I have been able to open either library. I have reset ATV and checked all connections.

Thanks for that mate, but alas no luck. I checked all set ups again but no luck and followed your suggestion. I read somewhere else that I may need to disconnect the ATV from TV and plug directly into the troublesome Mac and register with each other?? I have even reset the ATV back to factory with no joy. Could there be a set up in my iTunes on the troublesome Mac preventing the link?

Happy for any suggestions. Would not normally worry too much, but the ATV works so much betyter than the older one and would like to watch photos too from the Mac but that doesn't work either.!
