My MacBook is dented & the screen is white

Hi! So I woke up this morning & I opened my MacBook and the screen was completely white and the corner was a different color. I then proceeded to looks at the corner and I saw that it was dented.

I was wondering if there could be some type of repair & if there was a repair option what the price range would be or if I could just have some advice. I have important stuff on my macbook & it would be very upsetting to do lose everything.

Greetings, zaira1206!

Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Communities! It sounds like you have physical damage to your Mac along with white screen and I'm happy to help! For the issue with the white screen, you should check out this article for How to reset the System Management Controller (SMC) on your Mac as well as this article for How to reset NVRAM or PRAM on your Mac .

As for the dent and physical damage you are seeing and the question about the repair prices and options available, it would be best to have a technician take a look at it to determine the best options for you. This can be done by going to a local Apple Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider. You can find locations close to you by going to Apple - Find Locations . This will also give you contact information and allow you to make a reservation. You can also reach out to Apple directly by checking out this link to Contact Support and they will be able to review your options as well.

Have a super day!
