External monitor (EX3501R) blacks out

Hi,

I've a brand new MacBook Pro 2018 (15") and bought and BenQ EX3501R monitor to connect through USB-C to my Macbook. Now I have the problem that the monitor randomly blacks out for 1 or 2 seconds before turning on again. This happens maybe once an hour (Sometimes more, sometimes less), which is the strange thing on this. It happens when I'm working on the computer but it also happens when I'm sitting next to it and doing other stuff. I have no starting point for my troubleshooting as the mistake could be everywhere (Monitor, cable, Macbook). I checked the cable connection and also toyed around with the monitor settings but this didn't help. Does anyone has an idea where the error could be and how I could troubleshoot the issue?
