Can you upload an entire Logic X project to SoundCloud or only bounces (i.e. project condensed to .mp3)?
If it is the case that you can upload entire projects then how would that work with the 180 minute limit for the SoundCloud free account I am currently on? Whilst a track may be only 4 mins long, it’s size could easily be into the GB’s!!
This makes me think it must be bounces only, but Logic X does use the expression ‘upload project’?
Your hunch is correct. Whether you choose "File" or "Bounce" when sharing to SoundCloud, the project is uploaded as audio file, not as LPX project. In the latter case, it is indeed first bounced to an audio format, while the former just allows you to select an audio file created previously.
Thanks for your prompt response JotaGi. Slightly misleading Apple statement “you can even upload your project to SoundCloud”, I feel, but hey ho!
