If you are on the family plan for music, do family members have access to your photos?

If you are on a friends family Apple Music plan does the family have access to your photos?

An Apple Music Family subscription requires setting up Family Sharing.

“When you share a storage plan, other family members won’t have access to your content unless you choose to share it.”

You can share photos easily, by putting them in the shared album, but that is completely optional. If a member opts out of the iCloud storage feature of Family Sharing, they can’t even share that way. Of course each member must use their own Apple ID for the separation of accounts and account content.
