How do I find the path to the font files?

I want to use one of the existing system TTF files for the ShapString in a freeCAD application

MacBook Pro, iOS 10.3.3

Font not found on ".../Fonts" folders I am trying to locate font files(.ttf) starting with "Nanum",which can be found on Font Book app.I tried all folders below as suggested by Apple support page with no avail:~/Library/Fonts//Library/Fonts//Network/Library/Fonts//System/Library/Fonts//System Folder/Fonts/is there other folders that I can try?I also tried following command on terminal but took too much time and ended up ctrl+c out of the process :$ sudo find / -name Nanum*.ttf -printany suggestion would be appreciated.thanks,Hayoun

alternative to using font book I am trying to add a font directly into the fonts folder (system>library>fonts), but it is not allowing me to. Not sure why, because I have in the past. Does anyone know if something changed? or how to add fonts directly?

Choose Go to Folder from the Finder’s Go menu and provide /System/Library/Fonts/, /Library/Fonts/, or ~/Library/Fonts/ as the path. You may need to check two or all of them.
