wifi doesn't stay connected

Whenever I hit home button to power on my iphone6, my home wifi is not connected. I must go to setting, wifi, then select. After displays powers down and if I wait a few minutes then power display back via home button wifi will not be connected

Go to Settings/Wi-Fi. tap on the i next to the network name, and turn on the Auto-Join switch.

Try a forced restart.
