Why is my MacBook disconnecting from iTunes?

I have a brand new Apple MacBook Pro and every time I connect to iTunes it drops my internet connection until I disconnect my nano iPod. Please can anyone tell me why this is so. Thanking you in advance 🙂

What OS version and iTunes version are you using? Do you have a good Internet connection when not accessing iTunes? Do you lose the connection when trying to access the iTunes Store? Error message(s)?


Another option is you are entitled to 90 day telephone support from Apple. Try contacting them.
