I'm trying dark mode, but the green font in the search bar is hard to read. Can the color be changed and if so how?

Yes, the contrast does make it a bit difficult to see.
If you click anywhere in the URL window the text will change to white:
Safari on Mojave does not have a green font when viewed in the search bar. It is white in Dark mode, because they are using the NSColor textColor font color.
Green is to signify an https secure site.
In safari search bar the font is sometimes white , sometimes green. When I click in the box the font does turn white but whole long url comes up. It changes from white to green once it lands on a new site. Why does it turn green?

My guess would be Safari based on the title of the post.
