com.apple.Compressor.CompressorKit.ErrorDomain error -1 with iMovie

with no solution, I dug further, and found someone who found a solution that worked for me.

Since I cannot post on the above topics which are closed, here it is :

Just remove the file :

/Library/Application Support/ProApps/MIO/RADplugins/XDCAMFormat.RADPlug

or any similar file from your filesystem.

This worked for me.

In short, there was an old ProApps plugin sitting in my filesystem, and iMovie was using it all the while being incompatible with it.
