Visual voicemail on iPhone XR

where Is my visual voicemail? I signed into at&t voicemail but list won’t transfer.

I finally resolved mine by calling apple support. I knew one solution was to 1. go into settings general and scroll down and tap on reset. 2. Then tap on reset network settings. 3 Reset your network password when you are prompted to do so. I was trying to avoid that because I have so many apps set up to my wireless, Alexa, smart home, Fitbit to name a few. I was afraid it wiuld disrupt those apps. The support adviser assured me it would not,.

As soon as I reset my wireless network, the visual voicemails showed up However she was wrong about the rest of my apps, I spent half the day resetting those. Hope it works for you.

Never mind. I realize the phone app. I had already set up voicemail didn’t transfer my sim so the visuals prob won’t transfer. I’ll get someone to phone me to see if visual message shows up. I’m sure it will.

I have been with AT&T Wireless for >10 years. Each time I receive a new iPhone (many times over the years), I never transfer my SIM card, but do always keep the same AT&T telephone number. Visual Voicemail sets up on each new iPhone just fine.

My visual voicemail has disappeared as well. When I click on the phone app I don’t have a setup button, just a “call voicemail” option. I remember my password for the voicemail, so I can hear them, but I can’t figure out how to get the visual voicemail back.

Thanks Becky, I might sound stupid, but what exactly is the iPhone app? I went into settings and didn’t see anything

Mine must bethe exception. I can get audible messages and I have recorded my message but no visual. Extremely inconvenient and unusable to me. I’ve never had a problem before

Set up Visual Voicemail on your iPhone

Transfer your existing Voicemail

To transfer your existing voicemail, follow these steps:

Go to the Phone app, then tap the Voicemail tab.

Tap Set Up Now.

Enter your password,* then tap done.

Record a custom greeting or use the default greeting, then tap Save.

If you forget your voicemail password, there's no way to reset it from your iPhone. You need to contact your carrier to reset your password. If you insert a new SIM card, you might lose the voicemails that you saved on your iPhone.
