Can't upload photos from the Photos app to Flickr

So, I'd like to share photos from the Photo app to Flickr. When I hit the "Share" button, it tells me "No account is configured". Fine, I'll log in using Settings>Internet Accounts.

Except that it won't let me.

When I enter my User Name and Password, the dialogue box automatically adds "@yahoo.com" to the User Name field, no matter what I do. My Flickr user name does NOT include "@yahoo.com".

Fine, I'll enter my Yahoo address and password instead. Nope, doesn't work, and yes, I used the correct password. I know because I used Settings>Internet Accounts to configure a Yahoo account with no problems.

You DO realize that Flickr user names do NOT include "@yahoo.com", right?

It seems no longer possible at all to set up a Flickr user account in the System Preferences > Internet Accounts.

Apple removed the Flickt and Facebook accounts completely from the System Preferences > Internet accounts in macOS 10.14 Mojave and removed the Sharing extensions from Photos 4.0. And since then I cannot use the Share Menus for Flickr and Facebook any longer on my High Sierra Macs as well. The System Preferences for Internet accounts are still there in High Sierra, as well as the extensions in the Share menu in Photos, but I can no longer sign into the accounts. The same problem as you are reporting. When I go directly to Facebook or Flickr, my accounts are working well. It seems to be caused by the deprecation of these accounts in Mojave, that it is no longer working on the previous systems as well.

Nope, not in the least helpful. Did you actually read my message or just the header? Because referring me to the instructions WHICH I ALREADY FOLLOWED is not helpful at all. Some highlights from my original question:

>>>When I enter my User Name and Password, the dialogue box automatically adds "@yahoo.com" to the User Name field, no matter what I do. My Flickr user name does NOT include "@yahoo.com".

>>>I'll enter my Yahoo address and password instead. Nope, doesn't work, and yes, I used the correct password. I know because I used Settings>Internet Accounts to configure [my] Yahoo account with no problems.

So, to recap:

1) Settings>Internet Accounts>Flickr

a) doesn't accept Flickr User Name; automatically appends "@yahoo.com" in field

2) Settings>Internet Accounts>Flickr

a) use Yahoo address and password

b) Yahoo address and password are rejected - "Unable to verify account name or password"

3) Settings>Internet Accounts>Yahoo

a) Yahoo address and password are accepted

4) Yahoo account

a) goes to Yahoo.com

b) confirms that address and password used in Step 2 are correct by logging into Yahoo account

Any questions?

Hello and welcome to Apple Support Communities Calton,

I understand from your post you're unable to upload photos from the Photos app to Flickr. I think I can help. Below is an article that will provide steps on how to upload and what the rules are for Flickr. If the steps don't help, at the bottom of the article is a link to contact Flickr.

iPhoto: Publish your photos to Flickr

Hope this helps
Kind Regards!
