Converting mp3 to midi

Hi all, I was just wondering if it was at all possible to convert an mp3 to midi using Logic Pro X. If so could someone inform me on how to do this. Many Thanks.

No, that is not possible with any software, and it probably never will be.
Sound and MIDI are vastly different things. Basic rule: MIDI is not sound, it is info on what key you've hit when and how hard. It is up to a MIDI sound module or synth or plugin to "use" that info to create a sound.

One exception: if your sound file is purely monophonic (lone singer, lone trumpetplayer, anything where there are never ever two tones or more sounding simultaneously - then you can convert sound to a MIDI file using Flex Pitch.
