Ipod classic 6th generation battery drain

I have 3 different iPod 6th classic that run for 30 hours on shuffle yet drain on sleep in two weeks, I first thought it was a problem with the replacement battery however 2 from the same batch aren't showing the same problem in some 5th generation models, any ideas?

The last time I posted a question here was 3 years ago and an Apple supporter got all heavy about non Apple parts and invalidating the warranty I don't need that especially when they don't service old ipods any more

iPod classic, Windows 10

A couple of years ago I had problems with 4th generation classic iPods that I bought working but once I had replaced the battery and restored them they stopped connecting to iTunes, this stopped when I restored them on my girlfriends laptop or my own when it wasn't connected to the internet and restored using existing software

My own laptops was having issues so I wasn't sure what the real issue was but when I asked if Apple were playing silly buggers with the software that bought the wrath of kahn out this was before the slowing down iPhone se affair
