I just purchased an Apple Watch series 4 and my nest app auto installed on it during setup. When I try to use the App all I get is the house logo with a blur spinning circle, the app does not open. The App works fine on my iPhone 7. Any ideas??

Found this on the Nest website. It worked for me.
“Ok. So I’ve just finished speaking with a senior support agent and my app is now working.
I uninstalled the app from the watch (from the watch app on the iPhone). Then turned off WiFi and Bluetooth.
I uninstalled the nest app app from my iPhone. Turned off both devices.
Turned on iphone and went to App Store.
Installed nest from store and launched and logged in.
THEN (which is important), only then did I install the watch app.
It connected quickly and I could view everything.“
Note:
After I turned Phone back on I turned on WiFi And Bluetooth before going to App Store.

Have you restarted the watch after closing the app?
I have the same problem. The Nest app works fine on my iPhone X and had worked fine on my watch series 2 also running 5.0.1. Just got a series 4 and have exact same problem. Restarting didn't work. Tried un-installing the app on my watch, re-installing and restarting also to no avail. I suspect we will have to await an update from Nest or perhaps watch os 5.0.2 for a solution. In the meantime have removed the app from the watch. I'll be watching to see if somebody comes up with a solution, though.

Yes that worked!!! Thank you! 🙂 I noticed that I have to change the mode etc on my iPhone (unless I missed something). but the watch does reflect / mirrors what is on the iPhone and Thermostat.
