iMac CD drive issues
My CD drive will not accept CDs. If forced, it will not read the CD/DVD and does not eject properly. I was hoping someone may have some guidance on this.

Go to your local office supply store and buy a CD/DVD cleaning kit and use it to clean both lasers, CD and DVD use different lasers.

First, you should never force the disks in. It sounds like the drive may have failed.
FWIW, if the problem is a dirty drive it would accept CD's but would eject them after not being able to read them.
Is there a way to fix that? I've never had that issue in the past with my computers. Thanks for your help!
If the drive can't be cleaned as rkaufmann87 suggested, you will have to purchase an external CD/DVD drive.
