How to move instead of copy files? (MacBook)
MacBook Pro macOS Mojave
When dragging file to another folder, the default setting is "copying" instead of "moving"?
Is there anyway to change the default behaviour?

No I don't think so, I guess it is a kind of safety net incase something goes wrong, you will always have the source files.
If you are confident press and hold down the Command key and drag the folder/ files to the destination.

Isn't like what the, holding down the Command key whilst dragging and dropping your files/ folders is universal across Mac OS's.
This does not apply to "dragging" but may be an alternative for you.
Adding another wrinkle: if you want to copy a file to any location on an external drive/different partition, then the original will stay where it is and a copy of it will be put on the external drive. However, if you want to move a file from folder A to folder B on the same drive/partition, then the file is actually moved.
My old Macbook isn’t like this. Do they change for the lastest model?
