iCloud Drive File size limit for automatic sync.
So I uploaded thousands of files to my 200 GB iCloud Drive account and any file that is bigger than 1 MB need to be selected and manually set to download to my iPad Pro that has 512 GB of internal storage. I want all those files on my iPad Pro but I don’t want to click hundreds of times to get the file to show up on there fully usable. There are places I take the iPad that don’t have Internet and I bought a big capacity iPad Pro for reason but I can’t use it to its full potential because of iCloud drive limitations. I don’t mind if it takes a day or two or three to download all the files all but I don’t want to be clicking hundreds of times to download them. iCloud drive limitations on file size are 50 GB this nowhere close to that Where is the setting to download all files that are in the iCloud Drive. Isn’t that the whole point of having iCloud account to have the files sync automatically. What is going on here. By the way any file that is smaller than 1 MB automatically downloads without me even touching it, all I have to do is open up the folder where the files are and they download automatically if they are less than 1 MB. And this has no difference on what type of file it as it could be a picture, it could be a PDF, they could be Microsoft Word file, it doesn’t matter. What appears to happen here is the Apple is greedy on network bandwidth usage for iCloud servers, but we pay for this this! The higher storage service is not free! There are monthly costs involved for accounts greater than 5 GB. Can someone explain this to me?
