iPad Pro 12.9 - real 10bit display?

Does the iPad Pro 12.9 announced today have a REAL 10bit display?

Apple is bringing it like a true creative content machine, hence a real 10bit display is obviously crucial.

More and more cameras offer 10bit recording and also from a content design perspective, 10bit editing offers a lot of value.

Nevertheless, editing this type of content on an iPad is useless if the display is 8bit...

I can and so do you and the majority of the population. The first thing you notice on a 8bit display is banding (just search 8 vs 10bit). Especially when it comes to blue skies and blacks.

Nevertheless, I am asking since I don't have an iPad Pro at the moment nor can just go to the Apple store and start loading 10bit content on it. ;)

Apple wants to focus on a more professional audience (high level editing e.g. with Photoshop), hence this kind of specs are important.

Lastly, 10bit is also required for HDR.

E.g. HDR600 requires 600nits and a wide color spectrum. :)
