False notification badge on iPhone Settings icon!?

After updating the phone to the latest, it still shows a "1" on the Settings icon. I checked & there are no other updates or other processes pending in Settings. I restarted the phone and it is still there. Is there anyway I can remove or resolve this issue?

You said you restarted your iphone, Usually my first go to with any trouble is a hardreset. Sometimes that has cleared up issues with notifications, stuck phone loops etc.. Iphone 6 press and hold the home button and the power button until the screen goes black and the apple logo appears. Worth a shot.

Like the user said above, that should go away. That is weird! I have heard of that happening to other users in pasts posts, but usually has just resolved itself the next update that apple pushes out.

It will be there again for a reason(to update) then when you do.....it goes away. You could just totally reset your phone if it bothers you and apply a backup. Reset all content and settings, if it bothers you to have it on there. I understand I HATE notification badges. I look at others with 59 on email and HOW DOES THAT NOT DRIVE YOU NUTS?!

The erase and applying a backup or starting from scratch is up to you....
