Problem with Apple Airpod streaming BBC radio

I have an apple home pod. The only way to to listen to national radio such as BBC Radio 4 is to stream via my ipad/phone etc using either BBC iPlayer, or Tunein or direct from web. There is a continual break in the service with buffering or latency so therefore the broadcast stops and sometimes restarts or I have to exit the apps re-open and connect streaming back to my home pod again which is so frustrating I just want to throw my devices in the bin and start over

I have warp speed home fibrebroadband, and two broadband systems fitted in my home to ensure good home/work connection with no latency elsewhere

Im thinking of swapping to a Bose Wave whcih has DAB and a decent speaker combo of course, but I really love the sound of the home pod and dont want to ditch it if possible, anyone else have a problem or solution....??

Thanks

Hi,

BBC radios are not on AppleMusic (except for BBC World Service) so I tried BBC iPlayer to listen to BBC 4 from my HomePod air played from my phone (in France, on 1 DSL connection) and everything's working as expected for me. No break so far...

Do you have those breaks when you listen to the BBC directly from your ipad/phone or computer? What do you mean by "two broadband systems fitted in my home"?

Thanks
