HomePod still will not play radio stations......NOT resolved.

Purchased my HomePod this summer. It worked flawlessly for several weeks. I could call up radio stations from all over the country.

3 weeks ago, I started getting the "Sorry, I cannot create a station based on that." message.

I've tried reconfiguring it, resetting it, removing it, then reconfiguring it. Nada. Zip.

I do not want to have to stream radio through my phone, that's not why I purchased it.

Is there a fix in the works, or should I just junk it and find a competitive product that works?

This, plus the horrid click-static addled AirPods Pro is making me think Apple is really losing it.
