Defective itunes gift card
I bought (3) $100 and (1) $50 iTunes gift cards from Walmart and they did not work when I tried to use them. I called iTunes support. The gentleman told me a batch of defective iTunes cards went to Walmart CVS Etc and mine were indeed part of that batch. In order to rectify the problem he said I needed to go to a place to purchase replacement gift cards. I then need to get him on the phone line and give him the barcodes numbers of the gift cards before purchase to make sure they are not defective. I then need to purchase an additional $350 in gift cards. After that give him the codes and he will refund all the money back to my credit card. This sounds absolutely insane to me. Is this guy trying to scam me or what? It seems totally unreasonable.
