Hi, I just bought a iPhone X in target and i have a SIM of Telcel (a company from Mexico) and my iPhone don’t get it. It says that sim isn't compatible and I don’t want change the company. So what I would do, I have to return the phone to the store?

Los iPhones vendidos por Target, en estados unidos, no estan desbloqueados.

Al comprarlo debiste de haber elegido un a compañía celular Americana, como AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, etc... Esto quiere decir el iPhone está bloqueado a una de estas compañías, y solo se puede activar con una sim de una de estas compañías, la que hubieses seleccionado.

Si querias un telefono desbloqueado para usar en México con Telcel, solo comprando directamente en una tienda de Apple lo obtienes.

Tendrás que regresar el iPhone a Target, ya que no podrás activarlo con Telcel.

Ans he means that you can not ship it back to the U.S. for service. You have to bring it yourself.

Target does not sell unlocked phones. The only place to purchase an unlocked phone is Apple. Return the phone to Target if you have not exceeded their return policy.

Also, if you are purchasing a phone in the US to use in Mexico, remember the warranty for the phone is only valid in the US. You would have to bring the phone back to the US for service.
