eBay selling with Safari

I cannot sell on eBay. Support at eBay never told me there is a problem with Safari. Have not seen any postings on this subject since mid December. Has any solution been found? Or do I need to install Firefox?

If I do install Firefox, what happens to all Safari files, bookmarks, addresses, etc.,? Thanks for any help.

iMac G5, Mac OS X (10.4.1)

I got so involved in this ebay/Safari thing - following everyone's suggestions. Thank you everyone. I finally did download Firefox which I did not like at first. But since adding some of their extensions, I think it's better than Safari. I just get so tired of having to learn something new every time you download - and eBay.... is much easier with Firefox. First, it works. Second, pages are displayed quicker and the forms are displayed differently (all the new forms). Anyway, I'll stop rambling. I just wanted to thank you all for being so helpful. jbg

If you dont like the look of FireFox goto:

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/browse/type:2

and install any theme you want , personally like
iFox

search the site for iFox and it iwll resemble Safari

I believe you have to register with eBay as a seller before listing products. Did you do that?

I am registered to sell, have set up a Pay Pal account. Everything's ready to go, except it won't.

OK try this:

Repair permissions.

Delete all cookies to do with eBay.

Clean Safari's cache.

Restart.

Now try again, from scatch. Post back with results.

If you are not happy with the look and feel of Firefox, you could try Camino. Built especially for the Mac, it is a very fast browser and works fine with ebay.

I don't know whether Camino is supported by ebay. All i know is that it works on all aspects. Buying, selling etc.
