Fix for verizon.net email with AOL on Apple MAIL

How I got my email @Verizon.net on AOL to work with Apple Mail:

1. Open Browser
   1. Address Bar “aol.com"
   2. Login
   3. Select mail/envelop icon
      1. top right select “Options”
      2. select “Account Info”
      3. on left select “Account security”
         1. On first account (if you are other aol email addresses see IV.*) get pass code by adding Phone Number under Two-step verification TO GET A PASS CODE TXT (should be some letters).
         2. At step II. c) use pass code instead of your Password.
2. Open Systems Preferences on iMac
   1. Select “Internet Accounts”
   2. Select——“Add Other Account…” [not “Aol.”] at the bottom of list to the right
      1. select the “@ Mail account”
      2. fill-in your Email Address: __________@verizon.net
      3. fill-in (your aol) Password:
      4. select “Sign in”
3. Open Apple Mail — the account should be there and online.
4. Sign out of AOL.com from your browser
5. * For other AOL mail addresses repeat all the steps above except do not get extra pass code nor enter it instead of regular passcode.
