Mac shutdown and problem logging in after mojave update.

Hi! I recently updated my laptop with Mojave. Since the update, my mac would shut down on its own. Earlier I couldn’t login bcz my mouse pad and keyboard became unresponsive and now I can’t login bcz the login page doesn’t apppears. I have tried to restart few times by using the power button but no luck. Let me know if anyone is also facing the same problems.

Try starting your mac in Safe Mode. Does it work (it will be slow)?

If it doesn’t start in Safe Mode you may need to boot into the recovery partition and reinstall the OS .

Hi!

Thanks for replying.

So I tried starting the laptop in the safe mode by long pressing the shift key, but still nothing. The Apple logo appears, seems to load halfway and then the screen turns to a cartoon of mouse and keypad. No login page.
