Is it possible to check how much data each app consumes over wifi. I am a seaman and onboard a ship. Internet onboard is very costly at 10$ for 500mb. As soon as i log into my wifi connection data gets consumed very fast.

Is it possible to check how much data each app consumes over wifi. I am a seaman and onboard a ship. Internet onboard is very costly at 10$ for 500mb. As soon as i log into my wifi connection data gets consumed very fast.

I did not find any app showing data usage per app over wifi connection. And even it is not possible to block any app for wifi usage. Internet usage is costing a lot onboard here. Please advice as what could be done

No, iOS does not have this as a feature. You may be able to find a third party app for that purpose though.

Thank you for your input. I have already installed My Data Manager. But it is not of much use though. I have stopped all background data refresh and doesnt have much apps installed. Please suggest does the iOS gets updated frequently. Becuase the data manager shows me wifi consumption over unidentified apps.
