I have an iphone 8 with OS 12 and am unable to see the full titles of my purchased songs when I listen to them. I haven’t really tried anything as of yet because I am at a loss for what to do to solve this issue.
The ellipsis is shown when there isn't enough room to show all of the text in the current area set aside for it. Different views may show scrolling text instead. In iTunes you can use the Songs view and control the column widths to see all of the detail you want.
