ESET software doesn't work
(iMac 2011 27 inch, macOS High Sierra 10.13.6)
Hi all,
I'm having troubles running my ESET Cyber Security Pro on High Sierra.
I will try to include some screenshots.
After having installed the ESET software I get the message:
Your computer isn't protected
ESET Cyber Security Pro needs system extensions that are blocked by macOS. This is how you switch on security:
1. Open system preferences and allow that apps from "ESET, spot. s r.o." will load
2. Restart ESET Cyber Security Pro
Then, in the Security and Privacy extension, I see a line "Loading the system software of developer 'ESET, spot. s r.o.' is blocked.' with an "Allow" button next to it.
NOW HERE'S THE PROBLEM:
When I click the Allow button, nothing happens! It's as if the button doesn't even respond. (And yes, I had my the extension unlocked in the left corner down there ;-) I just can't get my ESET protection running on High Sierra!
I already contacted ESET support and they are clueless too. I followed all the steps as described on this page: ESET system extension blocked in macOS 10.13 (High Sierra)—ESET Knowledgebase but still computer says NO. Nothing happens...
Anyone familiar with this problem and perhaps knows how to fix this?
Because I'm very happy with ESET and my license is still running. Besides that I feel my computer isn't protected enough with just the macOS Firewall.
I hope somebody has a the solution, thanks in advance.
