"USB Accessories Disabled" warning Mojave OS

I thought that maybe 10.14.1 build was going to solve this warning problem but still giving this.

MacbookPro mid 2015 ... This warning only started with Mojave. I have nothing plugged in and hardware test returns 0 faults. Tried PRAM and SMC resets and signing in under different user. Error persists. This is not affecting using USB outlet. Time machine is OK too. Just annoying as it lives at top right of screen ... anyone else have this?

MacBook Pro (13-inch Early 2011), Mac OS X (10.7.5)

What if you boot into Safe Mode?

Hi. Ok I will try that when I get my power chord back. (instructions always say to plug in to power for this?)

Time machine works when I plug in external drive. For some reason Bluetooth and Trackpad are linked to my USB 3 port tree. Not sure if that is what is normally configured through that port.

Yes that's normal. Do you see the message with nothing plugged into a USB port?

Restarted in normal mode now. So far no warning... Hopefully that solved it.

You can try resetting the SMC a couple more times. How do you know the USB port and Time Machine drive are ok if you have nothing plugged into your MacBook Pro?

Hasn't done it yet. what does that mean? could it be the keyboard backlight function that triggers it?
