can you use an itunes back up again

If you erase and restore your phone and wish to use your itunes backup, but something goes wrong. Can you do it again? In other words, can you use the backup more than once?

iPhone SE, iOS 12.1, and a macbook pro

Yes, as far as I know! It´s a good idea after doing an iTunes backup to then "archive" the backup, that prevents it being overwritten or otherwise damaged if something goes catastrophically wrong!

In iTunes, go to iTunes > Preferences > Devices, and select the backup you´ve just made. Right-click on it and select "Archive". Hope this helps you! Regards, Ian.

Yes, the data is copied from the computer over to your phone and the backup on the computer will still be there.
