I have a 32GB iPhone SE - recently updated to iOS 12.0.1. Since the update I am constantly losing my LTE connection; my phone switches randomly to 3G and the only way to get LTE back is to turn off cellular data and then turn it back on again.
Anyone else having these problems? Does anyone have a solution?

In my experience the prime suspect will be a flaky signal from your (un-named) network, particularly if you always experience the problem at the same location. I suggest checking at a few different locations, far enough apart to be sure you are on completely different cell towers.
I will also suggest you should update your software to iOS 12.1. Although the notes don't mention any relevant bug fixes, simply reloading the software might help.
Watch out, my iPhone 6s on 12.1 LTE is way flaky! So much for Black Friday! :-( My wife's at 12.0.1 is fine... Have no clue how to diagnose...
Yes *sighs* I feel like I went from the frying pan into the fire with the 12.1 upgrade. I wonder if this is another Apple secret move to intentionally cripple older phones...
