smbutil: server rejected the authentication: Authentication error

OS Mojave ver 10.14 Mac Pro (Late 2013)

1. On the mac pro shingmp, In settings/sharing I have created a share SMB/AFP folder User = shing, staff and everyone

2. However when i execute the command smbutil on the shingmp, i get

shingmp:~ shing$ smbutil view //shing:password@shingmp

smbutil: server rejected the authentication: Authentication error

shingmp:~ shing$

it's the same results when i do this

shingmp:~ shing$ smbutil view //shing:password@shingmp.local

smbutil: server rejected the authentication: Authentication error

3. But on another mac, i can get to connected to the smb://shingmp using user= shing and password = password

Can someone help me please ?
