Jabra Elite Sport headphones and Watch Series 4

I can’t get my Jabra Elite sport headphones to connect to my series 4 watch. They “smart connect” as a “health device” when they are also connected to my phone. But I can’t get them to show up when my phone isn’t connected. And hopefully I can get them to connect as plain old “device” and not health device because of the HR sensor in them, or else I can’t use them for music when I go places without my phone ??
