My Macbook was stolen last month, i just now got a notification that it tried to connect and it was locked...But no other information. Is there a way for apple to tell me where approximately this occured. I believe I know who has it but having a location would be very helpful. Does apple provide this info?

MacBook, iOS 12.1, Find my Mac

Apple doesn't track your computer. If you had Find My Mac enabled in System Preferences/iCloud, go to iCloud.com/Find My Phone using a computer browser to see if you can locate it.

Find My Mac - If your Mac is lost or stolen

Find My Phone - Lock and track your device using Lost Mode
