Just got my ipad pro 11, wifi issues with usb c headphone adapter?

Its 15 jan. 2019 and apple did not contact me, did not keep me updated(see above post). I’ve send an e-mail today about this and stated also that i want an solution.

Please dont just read this forum, post if you have the same problem and make tickets.

I don’t know how the laws are in America, but in Europe, when you buy something that is faulty from the beginning you give the producer some time in which they can come up with a solution for the Problem.

In this case the Problem hasn’t even been recognized as a problem. They don’t offer any solutions.

Law in Europe states that we can now get some money back depending on the problem, and this is quite a bad problem because I can’t use my iPad at all after I connect a usb c cable for anything.

I opened a case with Apple last month and they responded today with "working on it". It should not be hard for them to recreate the problem themselves. They have ben very good about scheduling update calls.

My wife's machine behaves EXACTLY the same way. It is the only device that has this issue. She is so frustrated with this that she wants to return this device and go back to her old iPad.

I have exactly the same. Since you said that it happened as the earbuds in the iPad. It is very annoying

We're using bluetooth headphones for now instead.

If it’s only happening when going to/from sleep, I reckon they can fix it with software or firmware, not unlike the iPhone XS charger Problem a while back.

Same thing for me. I am using pixel usb c earbuds. No WiFi after it goes to sleep with the headphones still in.

I have the same problem since last week when I bought the cable USB-C to Audio Jack. Is there a date that Apple has given to fix this situation?

They have know about the problem for wkks now but they still sell the cable and they do not seem to care.

Having the exact same problem. Guessing this is an issue with any USB-C device connected

The problem is the same...

iOS 12.1.3 release notes include this item, wonder if this will also fix the wifi problems:

- Fixes an issue that may cause audio distortion when using external audio input devices on iPad Pro (2018) 

It fixed it for me, no more problems.
