cellular setting gone after updating ios 12.1

I use iphone x and updating ios to the current version 12.1, everything is doing great.

BUT, the cellular settings menu (connections section) is now missing as is all reference to their being a Cellular Option.User uploaded file

Checked my iPhone and there are normally three options under the Bluetooth Button in the main settings menu (Mobile Data, Personal Hotspot and Carrier) but it’s just gone/missing. So its just displayed:

- airplane mode

- wi-fi

- bluetooth

The LTE is working but I do not have access to any cellular settings options, and so for example I would not be able to disable roaming.

Based on discussion in iPhone forum for similar issue I have already tried:

  • Force restart
  • Network settings refresh
  • Toggling Airplane mode
  • Removing replacing sim
  • Change the sim card at my Provider Office
  • Try to connect the iphone with itunes on my laptop, and force reboot/restart my iphone x
  • click “check for update” on itune (laptop)

and after all of that, it’s still remain the same problem, the cellular setting option is still gone/missing, how can i fix that? please help

You might want to try reinstalling iOS completely, but of course make sure you make a backup of your phone first.
