Lightning to USB B

I have a pioneer WEGO 3 dj controller, and i lost the original iPad/phone to controller cable, i bought a Lightning to USB b cable but neither my or or iPad recognise it and just play music through the internal speakers

Anyone have an idea if i can fix this?

He isn't aware of anything special he's done in the settings. Please help.

If the cable came with the WEGO then contact them for a replacement.
