Key: "B" on Macbook Pro 2017 13" is unresponsive

I recently purchased a refurbished MacBook pro 13," and so far, I have been rather impressed.

However, until yesterday, my "B" key has been either unresponsive when "clicked" or inserts two "B's" at the same time.

I know that there has been a problem with the keyboard on the Macbook Pro 2017 in a past, but is there a way that I can resolve this situation?

Thanks!

This Apple Repair Extension Program (REP) suggests you can get it fixed at no cost to you:

Keyboard Service Program for MacBook and MacBook Pro - Apple Support

citing these symptoms:

  • Letters or characters repeat unexpectedly
  • Letters or characters do not appear
  • Key(s) feel "sticky" or do not respond in a consistent manner

With any REP, always print out the web page showing the program and take it with you when you go to an Apple Store or Authorized Service Provider.

Refurbs have the same warranty coverage as Mac bought "new."
