Can't write files larger than 5,006 bytes

I normally update pages on my OS 9.2.2 based web server by using file sharing from Leopard. Today I tried to update a page by using Snow Leopard. The OS 9 volume mounts as usual and I can copy files from it but I can only write files with a total size of up to 5,006 bytes.

Does anybody have any thoughts about the likely cause of this?

Any fix for Ventura moving files on Windows server broken? Worked flawlessly for years. With update to Ventura, anytime move files on Windows server from one folder to another, file becomes unable or is not visible. Sometimes able to copy the file on the computer and then open it. Are there any fixes that have worked? Does anyone know if Apple plans on fixing this? Otherwise Ventura is pretty useless for most office environments.

Pages on Mac Mini won't open iMac file: "File Format Invalid" I created a Pages v13.1 doc on my iMac 2017 and saved it to my public folder. My Mac Mini 2023 sees the file but Pages v13.1 won't open it saying "ZZ" Can't be opened right now. The file format is invalid. The file can be opened on my iMac 2013 and Pages v11.1 I experience the same issue with Numbers and Key Note documents. The Mac Mini will open jpg and pdf files.

Cannot save files to icloud drive Recently I cannot save or edit any files in my iCloud Drive using my Mac with Catalina. I always get some error saying the directory or file cannot be opened. This is a typical one: “My document” can’t be opened right now. Pages couldn't read the file." This is a Pages document opened on my Mac that I am trying to save into iCloud. This has happened repeatedly with any type of document. I can't figure this out.
