Apple news widget missing after upgrading to Ios 12 Italian version

Hi, I upgraded both my Ipad to and iPhone 7 to IOS 12.1. I live in Italy. Only on my iPhone 7 the Apple News widget has gone. I contacted the Apple support and the told me there’s nothing to do except setting the country zone to US. This way I could only read news based on US readers. Before the widget went out they were in Italian and most important based on Italian news.

At the moment I think there’s no solution. I’d like to point out my need in order to be solved in future upgrades. I was an avid reader of apple news widget and I miss it. Please find a way to restore it for all non US based users.

Obviously if there are solutions that Apple support didn’t provide me, let me know.
