how do I transfer files from a chromebnook to my mac?

Chromebook OS is not compatible with windows or Mac operating system, any ideas on how to transfer my files from (Acer chromebook 15) to my MacBook Pro?

MacBook Pro, macOS Mojave (10.14.1)

One option would be save your Chromebook files to Google Drive (if they aren't already) and then use your Mac's internet browser (e.g., Safari) and log into Google Drive and download them. The following is a link to Google Drive: https://drive.google.com/drive/my-drive
