Favorites in the files app randomly disappearing and reappearing

I just got the new 2018 iPad Pro, and I’m having an issue with the files app. I favorited a number of folders, but they occasionally disappear from the favorites list for seemingly no reason. I’ll force the app to close and reopen it, and they’re still not there. When I do this, I’ll manually go to the files I favorited to see if they’ve been unfavorited, but they haven’t. They’re still marked as favorites but just not showing up in the favorites menu. Then, seemingly randomly, they’ll show back up again sometime later. Not sure if this matters, but the files I’m favoriting are all saved in Dropbox.

I love my iPad and the files app in general, but this is a nightmare considering how many files I’m working with and how tedious it is to have to go through subfolder after subfolder every time I need to access a file.
