iPad Pro+Charging+Palm Rejection+Apple Pencil 2 = Broken lines
Hi Folks,
I am an illustrator and have been working on the new 3rd generation iPad Pro 12.9”.
I have encountered an issue that has been brought up before regarding broken lines while I work on the iPad while it’s charging.
From what I've read, this issue has been reported before and is a combination of the palm rejection feature while the iPad is charging.
When I lift my hand off the iPad (while charging), the broken lines do not occur. When the iPad is not charging, the lines do not occur.
I toggled through the various interface settings in the program I work in, Clip Studio Paint, but it did not solve the problem. I also read that deactivating the “Zoom” accessibility feature helped some people, but I didn’t even have it on when I experienced my issues. I even wore the 2 fingered glove that digital illustrators wear when they work on tablets, but the broken lines persisted.
Is there any solution to this issue? Having to do work on the iPad while it’s charging is an inevitablity and find it inconvenient to need to wait for it to charge up before being able to use it.
Thanks for reading and I look forward to a solution to this problem!!
