Hi there, i recently purchased an Apple Iphone Xs from a retail store form the country that I am living. The phone phone packing was sealed and brand new but after unboxing and activating the phone I tried to put my sim card. I found a sim card pre installed inside the brand new Iphone ( it was AT&T sim card). Is it possible? Or I should contact the retail store
It would appear the iPhone has been illegally imported, as it is a US model, and possibly locked to AT&T. I would return it for a refund or replacement.
But I have put my sim and it works fine it is not locked
Then it would appear to be unlocked. It would be your decision if you wish to return it.
